Understands the product strategy, pricing, costs, manufacturing footprint, in detail, across different markets worldwide. Defines the boundaries for acquisitions, quotes and negotiation of commercial topics to AM.
Job description:
- Customers representative in the Product Line. Participate meeting Product/Customer Mtgs (Roadmaps/Strategies/OPL/CVA/USP/ ..)
- Drives Quote-no-Quote (QnQ) Process: Organization, preparation, decision including documentation collection for traceability and lessons
- Coordinates Acquisition process: Deliverables to build the quote (price finding, cost breakdown, manufact. footprint decisions, etc), Support Customer commercial negotiations where required (Breakdowns/ Facts & figures....) and coordinate quote package on time. Optimise quote process (Pre-RFI/ RFI / RFQ)+ support Quote tracking
- Support Change Management: Coordinate the Quotations and Pricing adjustments.(R&D / Samples / Tests / ....) and build support data for negotiations and check entries in our systems
- Crosschecks purchase orders along PLC and clarifies open issues with customer – with support from AM
- Claims/Price adjustment: Submit data to Account Management to defend claims, and price changes ; Overdues/AR: From data collection of AR, resolve the sales related issues
- Validates customer demand, and responsible for inputs to Volume Review Meetings (VRMs-CDP) including considerations of SCM/Operation/ Acc Mgt data
- Responsible for Sales budget planning & forecasting (Customer Demand Planning + Sales /Business Plan (Sales Planning and Opportunity Tracking))
- Drives achievement of best technical / commercial offers (across all support functions – e.g. PUR, Q, OP..) Support the Costing/Quote of the platform and maintain data entries in the tool for “Time To Quote” estimations (Fast response on Pre-RFI/RFI, and RFQ checks)
Job Requirements:
- Successfully completed engineering/technical studies with very good knowledge of automotive systems resp. equivalent studies with a commercial background
- Long Term professional experience in the automotive industry as well as in the areas of marketing and sales
- Profound knowledge of project management
- Proven experience in working with an internationally operating company with a global focus
- Good knowledge of contract law desirable as well as confident use of MS Office programs and SAP
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Personality with strong organizational skills, open mindness, strong communication & negotitation skills, high flexibility in a rapidly changing environment
