Are you ready to play a vital role in the cutting-edge world of electric drive technology? As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for implementing project-specific software adaptations within the realm of safety-critical software for electric drive units. Your work will encompass aligning software safety requirements across various project disciplines. In this role, you will also lead the coordination of software adaptations to generic software components and calibrate safety-related software to meet our targeted system objectives. Additionally, you will provide invaluable support to projects, bridging the gap from system requirement definition to system testing, all within the sphere of safety-critical software. If you're passionate about functional safety and eager to contribute to innovative projects, this opportunity awaits you.
Your new responsibilities:
- Implementation of project-specific software adaptations to safety-relevant software for the electric drive unit in mild-hybrid (MHD) and high-voltage drive (HVD) series projects
- Alignment of software safety requirements in cooperation with the project disciplines (FSM/SYS/HW/SW)
- Coordination of software adaptations to generic SW components
- Calibration of safety-related software with respect to the targeted system
- Supporting projects from system requirement level to system test level related to the safety-relevant software
Your qualifications:
- Academic degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, mechatronics or similar
- Long-term professional experience in SW development with C and focus on functional safety
- Knowledge of safety objectives in the area of HVD / MHD with reference to the electrified powertrain
- Experience in requirements engineering, preferably in DOORS
- Understanding of the 3-level safety concept (AK-EGAS), as well as functional safety according to ISO26262, especially with focus on safety software
- First experiences with MATLAB & Simulink would be desirable
