Your Role in Global Business Services

Within Global Business Services, you support BASF's divisions through a cross-functional network, delivering modern, tailored solutions that meet the needs of the business. As a specialized service unit, the team maintains a high standard of customer orientation while designing cooperative, efficient, and future-oriented services.

What You Will Do

Bring your own ideas and help shape processes and service development. In this role, you manage all operational purchasing activities, ensuring that BASF companies across Europe receive raw materials, technical goods, and services on time.

• Implement and adhere to company procurement guidelines by executing Purchase-to-Pay process tasks.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to process orders in line with established guidelines.
• Guarantee timely deliveries and resolve non-conformities as part of your daily workflow.
• Maintain and update master data of contracts within IT systems.
• Serve as the central contact point for operational procurement, supporting internal customers, suppliers, strategic buyers, and finance colleagues.

What You Bring

• A bachelor's degree in commerce or a comparable field; a completed vocational education is also accepted.
• Initial professional experience in business or commerce; a background in purchasing is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills in Italian and/or Spanish, as well as English.
• Proficiency with standard IT applications; experience with SAP or procurement-related software is advantageous.
• A natural ability to identify customer needs and a passion for consulting.
