At Nexperia Germany GmbH in Hamburg, you will develop and validate advanced SiC-based solutions that transform cutting-edge semiconductor technology into real-world applications. Working alongside global teams, you will support customers and drive new products to market, blending hands-on engineering with deep application expertise.
What You Will Do
- Design power electronics platforms leveraging SiC technologies
- Execute and analyze testing and validation of power systems
- Build demo systems and present tailored solutions to customers
- Drive product go-to-market and customer design-in activities
- Create and deliver technical presentations, training sessions, and webinars
- Shape next-generation semiconductor performance through application insights
- Support device testing, characterization, and modelling
- Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and universities
- Contribute in a global, multicultural team environment
What You Will Bring
- M.Sc. degree or higher in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years in the semiconductor industry with a focus on power applications (WBG preferred)
- Strong hardware design experience across SiC, GaN, and IGBT applications
- Knowledge of thermal/mechanical design, gate driving, and inductance optimization
- Proficiency in measurements, testing, and high-voltage lab environments
- Solid experience with PCB design, simulation, and power module design
- Ability to connect device physics, converter design, and customer needs
- Strong communication skills; fluent English (German a plus)
- Hands-on mindset and willingness to travel occasionally
