In your new role you will:

• Contribute to the development of modern electronic systems and their implementation in the innovative automotive market
• Be the Goto-person in EMEA for Security System Solutions for our key automotive customers
• Support of go to market activities by providing security-solutions , reference designs and Software for our customers’ applications.
• Work proactively on optimized security applications for our customers’ projects together with the entire European Field Application Engineering Team, the Account Managers, the product experts and the business line
• Discuss innovative security approaches with the customer development teams and collaborate with our development department and concept engineering teams to drive optimized new products and technologies
• Understanding customers’ use cases and expected Security function s to be able to shape them into system requirements
• Technical support of 1 st level FAEs & customer support in all Security aspects
• Validate the application with the customer
• Prepare and execute customer presentations and application trainings

Besides your excellent demonstrated technical skills and experience, we are looking for a team player. You have excellent communication skills and interaction with people. You are interested in new requirements in automotive applications and the automotive market and you like to share your knowledge and experience with your customers and colleagues. Additionally, it is required to act on one’s own initiative, evaluate chances and risks carefully and be willing to go for the extra mile from time to time.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar fields
• At least 6 years of professional experience as an Application Engineer or Development Engineer for automotive Security applications
• Microcontroller & C-programming skills
• Knowledge of the ISO/SAE21434 standard - certification would be beneficial
• Experience with the Evita standard and the Hardware Security Module
• Experience wit h Trusted Platform Modules (TPM) or the Hardware Security Module (HSM)
• Strong drive, pro-active and autonomous behavior
• Fluent English and German
