As a Junior Competitiveness and Innovation Analyst , your main responsibilities will comprise:
Analyzing the projects of our competitors with focus on production costs and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) competitiveness
Gathering data from past bids and assessment for capitalization in the project development lifecycle
Supporting the implementation of internal monitoring tools for Innovation programs “time to market ”
Evaluation of new technologies through techno-economic assessment and benchmark to the state-of-the-art
Developing TCO (total cost of ownership) models for key molecules (H2, CO2, …) and supporting the harmonization process
Supporting the Intellectual Property portfolio management
Understanding and the anticipation of our competitive environment
Supporting the identification of promising technologies
Support for subsequent make-or-buy analysis
Contribution to TCO harmonization process for key molecules
Monitoring the “time-to-market” of our Technology/Product Road Maps (TRM/PRM) or similar programs and control of fit with the market requirements

Education :
Engineering school/ university/ Chemical Engineering (preferred)
Hard and soft skills :
- Fundamentals of (chemical) process engineering
- Expertise in simulation tools (e.g. Aspen Plus, gPROMS)
- Competency in competitive intelligence tools
- Excellent academic record
- Relevant industrial internships in process engineering and/or business administration in an international environment
- You are self-motivated, self-aware and taking initiatives
- You behave like an owner, but you also know your limits
- You are curious, quality-oriented, creative, cooperative with good communication skills
Languages:
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Work experience required:
- N one, but 1-2 years of work experience would be a big plus
