Navigate the Future - Tasks & Challenges

• You are the specialist in the field of frame and add-on systems (chassis frame systems, underrun protections, mud guards, crash protections, chassis top plates etc.) used for heavy commercial vehicles
• Design, simulation and general management of single parts and assemblies, regarding technical, legal and economic constraints
• Apply fundamental physics to lead the design maturity from initial concept to product launch, to the next concept
• Generate, create and review 3d, 2d and analytical models
• PDM management
• Definition of interfaces, concept studies and monitoring of design steps with internal and external partners
• Creation of BOMs and technical documentation
• Pre-Dimensioning and Pre-Calculations of new designs (FEA, CFD, acoustics etc.)
• Definition of basic requirements for new design projects, product cards in consideration of function, efficiency, cost, weight and packaging
• Definition and supervision of external work packages

Start Your Engine - Skills & Experience

• University degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics or comparable education
• Professional experience as mechanical or vehicle design engineer in the automotive/commercial vehicle industry
• Knowledge in chassis systems (Diesel + Natural Power + Zero Emission) for commercial vehicles and automotive vehicle technology
• Proficiency in using CAE software and Systems Engineering principles
• Familiar with technical documentation, manufacturing technology and materials
• Good communication and collaboration skills, assertiveness
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
