Your New Role
We are looking for a driven leader to head our Electrical Engineering team within the Data Center Business Unit. You will own the planning and engineering of electrical systems while building and mentoring a new team of Electrical Engineers. From recruiting top talent to ensuring flawless project delivery, you will set the strategic direction and keep quality, budget, and deadlines on track.
What You Will Do
- Plan, calculate, and execute electrotechnical system designs from concept through commissioning
- Prepare detailed execution documents – drawings, functional descriptions, bills of quantities – for procurement and resolve questions during the execution phase
- Build, lead, and develop a team of Electrical Engineers
- Ensure adherence to budget, quality, and deadline targets across assigned projects
- Support project management in schedule preparation and updates
- Coordinate subcontractors, guarantee execution quality, and enforce safety, health, and environmental standards
- Manage and control interfaces between individual trades
What You Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Extensive experience leading the design of major electrical projects or fast-track electrical positions, ideally in high-tech or industrial sectors
- Deep technical knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage systems – from preliminary design through commissioning and handover
- Understanding of project execution in fast-track environments
- Strong local construction knowledge
- Proven ability to mentor, motivate, and lead in technically demanding settings
- Excellent English and German language skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Central Europe (Austria, Germany, Italy)
