English Native or Near Native Pedagogical staff wanted for our Nursery (0-3)

Metropolitan International School is a multilingual (English, German) Kindergarten and Nursery located in Mannheim, Heidelberg, Viernheim and Geneva. Our multi-professional, international team in Heidelberg cares for a total of 30 children.

For the Nursery in Heidelberg, we are looking for full-time (40 hrs) or part-time (20-30 hrs)
staff member to join our team.

Your tasks with us:

Pedagogical support and care of the children aged 0-3 years old
Preparation, implementation and follow-up of pedagogical activities
Documentation of the child's development and targeted support
Supporting non-English speaking children in learning the English
Playful and creative organization of the daily routine
Planning of excursions, celebrations and projects in a small team
Work with parents

We expect:

a successfully completed training as an educator, childhood educator, child care

worker, psychologist, elementary school educator or similar

Extended police record (Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis)
Empathy as well as affectionate contact with children
Joy and fun in working with children
we gladly also consider job beginners or re-entrants
Social competence and ability to work in a team
High standards for yourself and for the quality of your pedagogical work
Organizational skills
Ability to observe and document developmental processes in a structured manner
Implementation of the pedagogical concept
Ability to reflect self-critically on one's work
English as a first language or at first language level
