The best way to learn a language is to grow up with it. That is why in our kindergarten “Kinderhaus Weltenbaum” we have been working with English native speakers right from the beginning. In 2003 we started with the first group of 9 children. Today up to 60 children from 1 to 6 years play, laugh and learn in the “Weltenbaum” - close to their parents’ work.

Job characteristics

• You work in one of our four children groups together with the nursery/ pre-school teachers and spend the day with the children in English: playing, singing, telling stories and supporting the little ones in all their activities.

• According to our fundamental concept (immersion principle) you enrich everyday life for our children by offering them the opportunity to discover and learn English as authentically as possible

• You support the active and passive learning of the language at all stages of their development

Requirements

• English is your first language - native-level English skills are absolutely essential

• Ideally you are a trained (pre-school) teacher. If you do not have specific training, first pedagogical experiences with small children will do as well, as in that case you will always work together with our nursery teachers
