For creating educational and engaging podcast productions, the Learning Media Team in the Didactics department is looking for freelance voice over artists to work with our language experts and audio producers delivering high quality audio experiences for our learners.

The Learning Media Team values diversity in learning content and aims for telling stories of a multicultural community. We strongly encourage people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of marginalized ethnic groups to contribute their voices to our content, and to bring authenticity to the characters from diverse backgrounds.

In the current project, we are looking for voices that can represent the following communities:

• Native Italian (preferably from Naples) with North African heritage, female/ male, 20-30 year-old
• Italo-american who grew up in the US but with a good command of Italian (C1 or above), female, 60+ year-old
• Spanish-Equatorial Guinean, male, 30-40 year-old
• Moroccan who speaks near native Spanish with an accent from Andalusia/ Granada, male, 35-40 year-old
• Native mandarin speaker with a good command of Italian (C1 or above), female/ male, 25-35 year-old

You will:

• Remotely record spoken lines from scripts for beginners of the learning language
• Bring creative suggestions that bring joy to the listeners and raise the standard of our content
• Receive live direction from audio producer and language experts to deliver the best audio for language learners
• Deliver high-quality audio recordings on schedule

You have:

• Spanish OR Italian language skills – native level (regional accents and foreign accents welcomed)
• A clear voice and impeccable enunciation
• Experience in voice acting, stage performance, etc. a plus
• Experience with and access to high quality audio production equipment
• Internet connection for live direction
• Excellent reading skills
• Passion for languages and cultures
• Reliable and an independent way of working
