Your role

develop and execute clinical development plans, in particular for clinical studies that are in line with our company's vision for the medical devices in ophthalmology
further development of the department, successfully strengthen expertise e.g., by implementing innovative concepts for the design and execution of (global) clinical trials
lead a team of clinical trial project managers with a focus on talent development
promote collaboration with interface departments and ensure greater value to our specialty department
interact with external partners and study sites to increase their awareness for the studies, data quality and patient recruitment
ensure optimal execution of national and international clinical trials and data analysis

Your profile

completed natural science or technical studies with master's degree or doctorate (or corresponding professional experience)
at least seven years of professional experience in clinical trials in medical device or the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in ophthalmology in an international environment
proven leadership and management skills
proactive, goal-oriented and reliable way of working
strong decision-making and teamwork skills, as well as good analytical thinking
business fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of other languages is an advantage
