Technical Operations Planner
The Opportunity:
As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.
As a Technical Operations Planner, you’ll bring your subject matter expertise to work on projects for a Department of Defense client. You’ll conduct, coordinate, and integrate analysis and planning to support special operations plans, operations, activities, and targeting processes or systems. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, develop plans and integrate capabilities into planning efforts in various formats, including graphic, written, and verbal. You'll attend meetings and represent the client office to internal and interagency audiences, ensuring unity of effort, coordinated approaches, and appropriate vetting of concepts and applications. You'll provide specific input on strategic and operational plans independently and with minimum oversight, producing efficiencies and enabling you to maintain situational awareness for the client by coordinating laterally with a network of military and civilian professionals throughout the European area of operations, other Combatant Commands, the DoD, and the interagency. While focused on providing recommendations for best application of, and preparation for client capabilities, you'll also support the Security Manger as needed.
You’ll guide the work we do for Defense clients and the solutions we deliver for military missions and defense strategic and operational planning.
