DESCRIPTION

The Amazon MGM Studios Distribution department, established in 2023, drives television licensing across Prime Video’s global infrastructure. We manage an extensive portfolio of premium content, overseeing the distribution of original Amazon MGM Studios productions alongside MGM's iconic film and TV catalogue. Our library includes celebrated franchises such as James Bond, Rocky, and Creed, critically acclaimed series like The Handmaid's Tale and Fargo, as well as highly anticipated theatrical releases.

We are seeking a proactive Distribution Coordinator to join our Munich team. In this pivotal role, you will evaluate and administer content licensing opportunities throughout German-speaking Europe (DACH) and Central & Eastern Europe (CEE).

Key job responsibilities

Evaluate content licensing opportunities through targeted market research and financial analysis.
Prepare and maintain client product availability reports, pitch decks, and presentations.
Draft internal deal submission documents, including deal outlines and formal approval requests.
Serve as a key point of contact for client queries regarding content and contract follow-ups.
Coordinate local client screenings and regional industry events.
Liaise with Contract Services and Delivery Teams to ensure seamless rights clearance and material delivery.
Manage meeting schedules and logistics at major trade markets, including MIPCOM and LA Screenings.
Maintain shared team databases, contact lists, and internal workflow tools.
Contribute to process optimization and operational improvement projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Proven track record in managing multiple concurrent projects effectively.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Professional fluency in spoken and written English and German (CEFR C1 level or higher).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience within media, entertainment, or content distribution and licensing.
Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project coordination and event logistics.
Proficiency in a Central or Eastern European language (e.g., Polish, Czech, or Hungarian) at CEFR C1 level.
