Work Environment
Being part of the Supply Chain Management team within the Audi procurement department. We ensure the start of production of vehicles through proactive supplier management regarding technology, logistics, capacity and timelines and safeguard a stable supply throughout the entire series production.
The increasing volatility in the economy as well as geopolitical circumstances have a significant impact on supply chains. Managing crisis thus becomes an important and daily aspect of what we do with an ever increasing intensity as risks and uncertainty in the global supply chains require frequent stabilization and mitigation efforts from our side.
We have significant experience in crisis management and thus established an organization that is focused in managing these professionally and with an increased focus to preventively highlighting risks and define measures to minimize the impacts on our supply chain. Through the dedicated combination of risk sensing and crisis management we work to increase the resilience of our supply chains. This preventive approach is supported by a data-driven approach that enables us to make transparent decisions at an early stage, evidence-based as well as proactive on board level. This is our contribution to secure the supply of parts and ensure vehicle production throughout pre-series and series.

Job Purpose/Role
- You will complete a first project within your target field Supply Chain Management Procurement.
- In course of the program you will work independently on up to four more projects in various divisions of the company, one of them at a VW Group brand abroad. Throughout these assignments you will get to know process partners and interfaces for your future position.
- In addition you will complete short modules in different areas of the company (e. g. assembly)
- You will engage in various working groups within the Graduate Trainee Community
- After completing the program, you will take on your position in the target field Supply Chain Management Procurement - crisis management and risk sensing.
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
- University degree from an accredited university in business administration, industrial engineering or similar required
- Above-average academic performance
- Experience in supply chain management and logistics
- Minimum of three months of international experience during your academic program through internships or a semester abroad
- Practical experience of at least six months through relevant internships
- Fluent English as well as fluent German
- Relevant extra-curricular commitment
- Passion for solving complex problems and hands-on mentality
