THE TEAM

You will join our Development team, responsible for designing, producing, and maintaining our autonomous mobile robots - arculees. You will be a part of a cross-functional, agile, international, and distributed workforce, creating the best possible experience for our users.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support in setting up and maintaining a 3D physical simulation environment for localization and perception use cases with Gazebo.

• Improve the developer experience using the simulation environment.

• Importing 3D models into our simulation environment

• Writing plugins for customizing the dynamic behaviour of our 3D models

• You would be learning to work with modern tools like ROS2, Gazebo with C++ and Python

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in Bachelors/Masters program with a German university.

• Studying Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics or similar fields.

• Available to stay with us for at least a semester

• Experience developing code with C++/Python

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

NICE TO HAVE

• Previous Internship or Working Student experience

• Basic understanding of XML

• Basic understanding of docker

• Experience working with 3D model files like STL/COLLADA
