As an Operations Specialist based at our customer site in Dahlewitz near Berlin, you will manage daily transport operations from order fulfillment to shipment visibility and issue resolution. As the main contact for our customer, you will collaborate closely with internal 4PL teams and external transport providers to deliver a seamless service experience. How you create impact

• Act as the primary contact for all transport services within scope.
• Coordinate transport services for customer orders using modern transport management systems, handling exceptional and special transport requests efficiently.
• Select transport modes and logistics service providers based on agreed parameters to guarantee on-time pick-up and complete delivery.
• Execute administrative tasks such as cost allocations and effort reporting, while preparing standard forecast and document monitoring reports.
• Perform event monitoring services to maintain agreed delivery quality, opening and reviewing deviation reports as required.
• Identify root causes for reported deviations, determine responsible parties, and propose effective corrective actions.
• Recognize and escalate operational issues affecting service quality to management in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate strong ownership, proactivity, and high productivity across your area of responsibility.

What we would like you to bring

• Between 3 to 5 years of professional experience in logistics and freight forwarding.
• Solid knowledge and practical understanding of airfreight as well as other transport modes like Road and Sea.
• Strong customer orientation with the ability to quickly grasp and execute new processes.
• Capability to fulfill time-critical tasks while adhering to strict deadlines and schedules.
• Fluent English skills combined with conversational German, both written and spoken.
• Clear process understanding along with a structured and independent working style.
