Your Impact
- Plan and coordinate inbound and inter-distribution-center transportation, including volume forecasting and capacity planning.
- Create and manage transportation orders to guarantee efficient, reliable shipment execution.
- Monitor delivery KPIs and ensure on-time transportation performance across the network.
- Evaluate, select, and steer logistics service providers against defined performance and cost benchmarks.
- Audit transportation invoices, control costs, and unlock optimization potential.
- Drive continuous-improvement initiatives that boost transportation efficiency and warehouse-network performance.
Your Profile
- Several years of hands-on experience in transportation, logistics, or supply-chain management.
- Solid knowledge of transportation planning, execution, and carrier management.
- Proven track record with transportation tenders, provider selection, and contract negotiations.
- Working familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and related technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities in an international business environment.
- Fluent in English and German; additional language skills are a plus.
