The Content Manager role within the Global Content Marketing & Strategy team is responsible for developing, optimizing and distributing Munich Re’s global and local business content and messaging across all formats and channels to drive business and corporate strategy. He/she/they is/are creating content strategies for internal and external target groups along the core and market strategies. He/she/they is/are producing content to drive profitable growth and to build trust for our targeted stakeholders. The focus of this position is on topics that support the business on a global scale, on regional communication measures, and on internal as well as external content channels.
Your Job
- Create content strategies and content to make sure that strategic and business messages reach the relevant target groups via appropriate and high impact formats and channels
- Create highly effective digital and analogue content for well conceptualized client journeys and a value-adding customer experience. This includes, as appropriate, editorial formats like videos, infographics, blogs, pitch presentations and data visualization
- Provide advice about editorial issues and strategic and tactical counsel and guidance for all who seek to publicize information and consulting colleagues how to conceptualize, create and distribute the right content to fulfil their goals
- Develope an integrated content strategy that encompasses channel selection and focus, and metrics to be applied and aligned with the company’s and business’ overall objectives
- Identify, design and implement global communication campaigns in collaboration with other Global Com colleagues
- Build and maintain highly collaborative partnerships with Global Com peers to ensure effective and efficient delivery of impactful content across all formats and media
- Steer and work with external agencies in accordance with Global Com guidelines
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree required, and MBA, Communication, Economics or other Master’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience, developing and executing multimedia, multifaceted integrated communication campaigns
- Exceptional editorial and copywriting skills in German and English for all digital and analogue formats
- Extensive knowledge in content marketing programs and managing content marketing strategy, communication trends, analytics and best practices in digital and traditional marketing and communications
- Highly creative, embraces change, collaborative, with excellent people skills to quickly communicate ideas
- Experience in influencing and negotiating with stakeholders by providing strategic counsel
- Positive, self-motivated, growth mindset with high emotional intelligence
- Strong decisiveness in efficiency and prioritization questions
