At ELC Schulz GmbH in Dortmund, we don't just look for a job title – we look for a person with strong technical competence, organizational talent, and the drive to take on real responsibility.
Whether your background is in electronics, electrical engineering, master craftsman, technician, or commercial-technical work – what matters is that you understand electrical engineering principles, can steer projects, and are eager to grow.
Your Role
You become a key interface between customers, planning, project management, the construction site, and our teams. You work increasingly independently and ensure our electrical engineering projects are delivered to the highest standards in technology, organization, and quality.
What You Will Do
- Technically prepare and accompany our projects from planning through final acceptance
- Review and process billing schedules and technical documentation
- Support cost, material, and work planning
- Communicate technically with clients, planners, suppliers, and project stakeholders
- Coordinate with construction and project management teams as well as field personnel on site
- Check quality of work, adherence to schedules, and technical requirements
- Identify deviations and develop practical, feasible solutions
- Support measurement, change orders, and documentation
Who We Are Looking For
It is not about your title – it is about what you can do and where you want to grow. You fit in if you:
- Bring solid knowledge in electrical engineering, energy technology, and building technology
- Read technical drawings, plans, and performance specifications with confidence
- Enjoy organizing tasks and maintaining a clear overview
- Work independently and solution-oriented
- Are ready to take on responsibility and communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, and partners
- Value quality and clean technical solutions
An apprenticeship or further education as an electrician, electrical engineer, master craftsman, or technician is ideal – but not the only path. A lateral entry from a commercial-technical field works too, provided you bring the electrical expertise.
Why This Role Is a Great Fit
You are still working in the second row today but know you are capable of more? You do not need to be a fully-fledged project manager from day one. We are looking for someone who is professionally competent, proactive, and ready to take on more responsibility step by step.
What You Can Expect at SCHULZ
We are a family-run electrical engineering company based in Dortmund, serving commercial and industrial clients well beyond our local area. Our projects span classical electrical engineering, lighting systems, network technology, e-mobility, photovoltaics, and service and maintenance.
- Permanent full-time position with a diverse range of responsibilities
- Short decision-making processes and direct exchange with management and project leaders
- Independent work with supported opportunities for further training and development
- Attractive compensation and additional benefits
- The chance to actively develop your position and area of responsibility
Your next step does not need to be elsewhere – it can be with us. If you have the skills and the drive to take on more, let us get to know each other.
