The Centre for Fundamental Rights at the Hertie School seeks to hire a
Student assistant (m/f/d)
On a part time basis (10 h/w). The contract shall commence as of 01 September 2024 and will initially be limited until 31 January 2025 (with the possibility of extension).

The Centre for Fundamental Rights at the Hertie School is an academic centre of excellence for research, teaching and public engagement on contemporary and emerging challenges to the protection of fundamental rights in domestic, regional and global law and governance. As part of its outreach mission, the Centre hosts research, public, and student-facing events, engaging with diverse stakeholders. We are currently seeking to hire a student assistant to support the administrative team in these activities.

Your tasks:

• Support the organisation and execution of activities at the Centre for Fundamental Rights, including research, public and student-facing events.
• Assist in organising internal seminars and meetings.
• Update and maintain information on the Centre's webpage.
• Provide assistance with general administrative tasks as needed.

Your profile:

• Enrolled as a student at a German University
• Reliable and Independent working style
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft office applications
• Excellent communication and writing proficiency in English. German language skills are an advantage
• Interest in the research and outreach activities of the Centre for Fundamental Rights
