We are seeking for

We are looking for a full-time (40 hours), permanent Graphic Designer for University Communications and Marketing to start as soon as possible.
KLU has embarked on a creative rebranding process, supported by a great Hamburg brand agency at our side. You will translate the new design based on a brand book and initial layouts for all communication channels. In day-to-day business, you will be the central contact person for the visual-creative design of our brand communication throughout the university. You will do this within the still young 5-person Marketing team in close cooperation with other specialist departments such as Public Relations and Student Recruitment.

Your Responsibilities

• Further development and adherence to the corporate design across all online and offline channels
• Roll-out rebranding
• Development of designs and templates for all communication channels
• Creating content for offline, online, incl. social media (e.g. illustrations, animations, short videos)
• Design, layout, creation of print data for advertising materials
• Image editing and research, maintenance of image database

Your qualifications

Your profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in media design, graphics design, communication design
• Confident handling of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
• Very good English (C1), good German (B2/C1)
• Strong in conception and assertive, competent in advising employees
• Creative and innovative with an eye for detail
