YOUR TASKS
- Support the Project Purchasing Team with general purchasing activities such as requesting and analyzing offers from suppliers, sending orders, setting up delivery plans, checking discrepancies on invoices and booking received parts
- Support with ongoing projects related to savings or quality improvement
- Project Owner – Responsible for a VA/VE project since it’s concept until it’s implementation
- Responsible for creating purchasing reports
- Support as the interface between suppliers and different Knorr Bremse intern departments
- Support with improving project purchasing process and new purchasing structure in SharePoint
- Development of an “onboarding” Project Purchasing Manual such as how to create a Purchasing Order in SAP or how to book goods receipt
- Takeover of special topics within project purchasing
YOUR PROFILE
- Enrolled Student of Business Adminstration or Engineering
- Fluent in English, German beneficial but not mandatory
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
