Our client an Online Payments Firm is currently looking for a Head of Compliance to lead their Munich team. This role is ideal for someone with a compliance/law background, who has experience working with BaFin and in a fintech/payments firm. This is a part-time role (2/3 days per week), initially 6-months in length, paying around €800-€1,000 per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls
• Establish the compliance monitoring plan
• Oversee AML and financial crime policies
• Act as the key point of contact with the regulator (BaFin)

Key Requirements:

• Worked as a Senior Compliance Professional in Financial Services
• Previous experience within a Fintech, Payments or Crypto firm
• Experience working with BaFin
• German Speaking
