As General Manager (m/f/d) your essential duties and include but not limited to the following:
- Set-up, and development of the new European company.
- Further development and execution of the European Business Plan.
- Preparation of budget/forecast, sales/profit planning, and market launch.
- Work with US HQ management to develop annual strategies to optimise sales, brand value and margin, as well as collaborate and communicate with leadership teams also along with global sister companies.
- Identify, implement, develop, maintain, and proactively drive the distribution network required, plus management of external logistics partners e. g. 3P to provide ideal coverage of the market.
- Build, lead and motivate the European SawStop Sales, Marketing and Service/Repair teams.
- Ensure team development aligned with the SawStop culture and values.
- Operate as the brand ambassador in market and be the single point of contact for SawStop.
- Provide local market intelligence and deliver/analyse key performance metrics and analytics.
- Ongoing identification of strategies and tactics to improve the operational effectiveness and results of the team.
Approximately 80% of time for this role will be spent travelling, visiting dealers, attending events, and team meetings, mainly in European countries and some trips to North America.
