Functional Safety Implementation of Electronic vehicle functions as per the safety process at system and SW level which includes Safety concept definition and Safety Management activities

Responsibilities

• Support project team with Functional Safety Management implementation
• Update and provision of specific tools for the project (e.g. document templates and other tools)
• Cooperation with central safety team concerning the applicability and optimization of processes developed on the basis of project experience
• Selection and updating of measures and techniques required as per ISO 26262 standard
• Tailoring of the development process in terms of Functional Safety defining the list of Functional Safety related documents needed to be prepared
• Ensure compliance with general quality targets in accordance with valid quality standards
• Responsible to check for safety measures implementation during project and product release
• Planning and coordination of the safety activities
• Verification reviews driving the safety related processes:
o Creating the safety plan DIA o Management of all functional safety work products o Steering the safety related activities in the projects o Moderating analysis sessions or performing safety analysis o Organizing reviews, audits and safety assessments o Interfacing with the customers and the suppliers for functional safety o Maintaining the safety case

Skills

Must have

Qualification as AFSP (Automotive Functional Safety Professional) from SGS-TÜV Saar or a comparable qualification from an accredited provider.
