Amazon Web Services is seeking a data-driven, creative, and well-written Sr. Industrial Marketing Manager for an account-based marketing role. Candidate is responsible for content creation, content marketing, and operations as part of our Industrial marketing team. As a Sr. Industry Marketing Manager you will define and drive solution-oriented marketing strategy, messaging, and content creation targeted to business decision makers at specific account. You will interlock with leaders and stakeholders from AWS including product and engineering teams, product marketing, partner marketing, campaign marketing, field marketing, business development, sales, and analyst/public relations. You will create compelling content to help target customers understand AWS services and value propositions, delivering industry-specific, differentiated solutions supported by ebooks, whitepapers, executive briefs, architectural references, and customer stories. You will hold high bar for marketing activities, defining success metrics, measurement methods, and reporting processes. You will work on a rapidly growing business and have the opportunity to drive impact every day alongside a broad set of stakeholders.
This role is focused on Account Based Marketing with a specific set of automotive and manufacturing accounts. This role establishes and maintains business relationships with internal and external customers, and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
The ideal candidate should have a background marketing to the operations audience for industrial organizations and must have a passion for technology and how it can be used to create business outcomes for industrial companies, the ability to transform complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand messaging and materials, and experience building and improving scalable mechanisms for managing work. A proven track record of excelling in a data-driven marketing organization and cross-functional collaboration are must-haves.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage in-account marketing plan and execution for a portfolio of AWS global accounts.
- Earn trust and maintain strong relationships with Account teams to support their goals, increase engagement with marketing, and drive program support.
- Develop and execute marketing programs to accelerate funnel velocity, increase brand awareness, and drive sales demand through direct and indirect channels
- Design and execute programs to reach customer targets by vertical, drive sales plays, create sales tools and regularly communicate marketing programs and results.
- Leverage global marketing resources and find ways to invent and simplify, address demand without large teams or budgets, and achieve performance metrics.
- Work on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution.
- Execute AWS’ go-to-market strategy for various sub-verticals of the industrial segment within a set of specific accounts.
- Developing messaging, value propositions, core content, customer references, and go-to-market programs within responsible accounts.
- Regularly engaging with the senior leaders in the organization to develop and communicate how AWS benefits and transforms each industry segment.
- Develop and support activities at AWS and third-party conferences and events, positioning AWS as the leading cloud provider for industrial companies.
