SIRION BIOTECH is Europe's largest developer and manufacturer of viral vector technologies for novel
therapies for the research-based pharmaceutical and biotech industry. The company was founded in
2006 and is located in the Biotechnology Innovation and Start-up Center (IZB) in Martinsried near
Munich, Germany. From January 2022 onwards in a facility three times as big in nearby Gräfelfing.
SIRION Biotech International operates out of Cambridge in Massachusetts, acquiring and supporting
our US clients.

in the field of medical and biotechnology. Headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, the company
employs 14,000 people worldwide and offers extensive expertise in diagnostics, medical research and

Sales Scientific Associate
Remote in Massachusetts
The ideal SSA candidate has a keen interest in and foundational understanding of the role of viral
vectors in the growing Gene and Cell-Therapy Industry and is seeking a position to gain access to the
business side of these Markets.
Given the global nature of our business and the age of our company, the candidate must possess an
entrepreneurial mind-set, be a self-starter, and can work with limited supervision.
The role grants direct contact with manager and senior manager-level positions across its international
organization.
