Your area of work:

The CTO area of the Information Technology division of Deutsche Börse Group develops and operates the group-wide IT infrastructure (network, data centers and Cloud). At the same time, it is responsible for the digital transformation roadmap of Deutsche Börse Group. The CTO Transformation Office manages the change related to the CTO transformation roadmap, ensuring production operations is stable.

To strengthen the team, we are looking for a motivated Project Manager (f/m/d) to take responsibility in an interesting and dynamic, international environment. Project managers drive projects in the CTO area and contribute to the transformation into modern technologies and infrastructure in a highly regulated capital markets environment, advance innovation and contribute to Deutsche Börse Group’s overall strategy.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage projects in Cloud Transformation and group-wide adoption.
• Deliver a group wide reference data solution in line with the enterprise reference architecture, starting with the customer master data services. Migrate legacy technology (Mainframe) to Cloud native technology tack.
• Deliver a group-wide Data Mesh connecting data across the organisation. Support business to monetise data by providing advanced analytics capabilities and delivering a group-wide data marketplace.
• Lead project teams in distributed locations in accordance with Deutsche Börse Group project management processes and regulatory requirements.
• Manage external and internal audit items.

Your profile:

• Proven track record in delivering technology transformation projects, understanding potential pitfalls and challenges that typically arise while leading technology transformation projects.
• Wide range of abilities to understand both the business perspective of projects and operate at detailed implementation and technology level.
• Ideally experience in technical project management in the area of legacy technologies in financial institutions, including mainframe applications
• Technical and functional knowledge and experience in projects covering low latency technology stack applied in financial institutions in the area of trading and related interfaces.
• Experience in Cloud based technologies and data analytics capabilities
• Strong communication and organisational skills to work across business and technology stakeholders within the organisation.
• Profound knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial markets, specifically related to Information Technology.
• Proficiency in written and spoken excellent German and English.
