We are looking for a Value-Added Service (VAS) Migration Manager, who will be responsible for ensuring that our suite of Value-Added Services ranging from Uniforms to Payroll are transitioned and delivered correctly, compliantly and efficiently while meets the demands of our customers both internal in Amazon and our Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) on the last mile. This individual in essence will be fully responsible for a smooth product transitions and change management. This requires the placement of new, existing and developing services as well as an ability to challenge the status quo repeatedly.

Key job responsibilities

• Create and drive VAS Service migration concepts on the basis of customer and market requirements in 9 countries.
• Develop strong, value-add partnerships with payroll relevant 3rd party companies to initiate smooth transition
• Work with VAS product owners and local operations teams to create migration project plan for existing products and services, and execute change management with our new partners DSPs
• Support program teams to implement the local migration strategy and ensure services are provided in full and in the right quality
• Create and execute detailed project plan for each Country VAS migrations by understanding local regulatory requirements and blockers
• Act as the ‘project owner’ for assigned countries, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that may impact the migration plan. This includes owning forecasting, monitoring, driving changes to achieve business objectives
• Have a thorough understanding of the VAS products and compliance requirements and continually monitor customers feedback during the migration and align with vendors to mitigate any issues, risks
• Be the main Point of Contact (POC) in case of escalations and address issues raised with appropriate solutions
• Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics for VAS transition and its quality
• Create, maintain progress reports to be distributed across the work-streams
• Coordinate consolidated standard operation procedures and administration

Stakeholder alignment and Vendor transition project management. Daily meetings with external vendors and internal customers. Team updates and service ownerhip WBR. Vendor migration supervision and product enhancments.

The Value-Added Services (VAS) Function offers DSP 2.0s a wide-ranging list of VAS aimed at a) supporting each DSP in achieving their full potential and b) encouraging new entrepreneurs to start their Last Mile delivery business with Amazon. DSPs therefore trust and rely on Amazon’s VAS Team to negotiate with vendors the most comprehensive and cost-effective offering for all VAS in each geography.
