Reporting into the Sr Director International Procurement - Indirect Procurement, as a Team Lead you will be responsible for leading the entire Logistics Category, developing and implementing the strategic category sourcing across markets, managing internal stakeholders and suppliers around markets, managing internal stakeholders and suppliers around the world. In this role you will lead the category, as well as manage a cost-down project for logistics. In this role, a senior category manager will report to you.

• Leading a total estimated spend of €600 million spanning across 18+ different markets in Logistics categories, including inbound and outbound logistics
• Benchmarking, best practice exchange and standardization of Logistics procurement processes to optimize for cost and process efficiency
• You will be an active player during make-or-buy analysis for local and INTL leadership in decisions related to 3PL versus internal delivery solutions
• You will design and execute the category strategy that deliver value to the organization, including budgeting, sourcing strategy and creating of clear and measurable SLAs/KPIs
• Manage contracts and supplier relationship, enabling the category continuous improvement of methods, systems and tools that will help stakeholder to manage capacity on an ongoing basis as well as deliver higher process efficiency
• Track the negotiation success rate and savings execution, including reporting and communicating results and progress to the leadership

• 10+ years of experience in logistics procurement with a track record leading proven successful negotiations with the main carriers in Europe. Fleet management is a plus
• An exceptional academic record with degree from top tier college or University (Supply-chain or Business degrees preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to drive cost optimization projects including a make-or-buy analysis
• Exemplary and demonstrable stakeholder management experience across diverse stakeholder groups
• Superior analytical skills and operational modeling capabilities
• Progressive procurement leadership mindset
• Advanced data analytics skills
• Solid process competency in lean methods, problem solving techniques, root cause analysis, and structuring of complex improvement projects
• Excellent command of the English language is a must. Additional languages, especially European languages are a plus
• Interest to frequently travel abroad (travel requirement: up to 25%)
