- Full supervisory and technical leadership authority and accountability regarding personnel, budget and investment with all involved departments and ensure quality, time and costs
- Assure and manage continuous improvement as internal consultant for all FAL and component assembly processes (including logistics, IT, technology, production management)
- Secure the delivery of work orders for FAL, based on the development, assessment and implementation of new modifications, manufacturing concepts, technologies, work packages, improvements, calculations
- Review and adapt ways of working to suit today’s company needs and support their implementation in the new PLM and ERP systems; update the corresponding company procedures
- Secure adherence to applicable rules and regulations such as EASA 21G
- 5+ years of experience in managing assembly lines or in a comparable position, in the aviation industry
- Degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of experience and education (Technician, Certifying staff..)
- Knowledge of EASA 21G and CAPEX, GTR, GTI, MAP skills are mandatory
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Good German and fluent English (spoken and written)
- Planning and organizational skills, a quick grasp and assertiveness
- Reliability, independence, resilience and team spirit
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
