As the focal point for all administrative and operational people-related matters, you will play a vital role in supporting our 80-strong team. As the primary contact for employee inquiries on topics such as tax, social security, and labor law, your expertise will ensure seamless navigation through these complexities.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Monthly Payroll Preparation: Take over preparing our monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Contract Management: Handle the creation and modification of employment contracts, maintaining precision and legality.

• Personnel System Maintenance: Manage our personnel system using tools like Personio, with an aim to optimize its functionality and efficiency.

• Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Spearhead the preparation and follow-up of employee entries and exits, fostering a smooth transition for all team members.

• Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement by enhancing existing operational people processes and introducing innovative solutions where needed.

• 
  You have successfully completed a commercial vocational training, ideally as a certified IHK payroll accountant or HR specialist, or comparable training.

• You have already gained first professional experience in payroll accounting and personnel administration.

• You have good knowledge of payroll tax, social security, and labour law.

• You know your way around MS Office programmes and, ideally, already have experience with the Personio personnel software.

• You are open-minded, empathetic, and communicative.

• You have a high degree of initiative as well as a careful, reliable, and discreet way of working.

• In turbulent situations, or with constantly changing challenges or priorities, you maintain an overview, react flexibly, and act in a solution-oriented manner.

• You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English (C1).
