TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Lead Project Management (m/w/d) at our location Hannover who will contribute to this and that might be you?

Your contribution to TenneT

In this important role your project team consists of approx. 6 FTEs working full-time in the project and additional staff from other departments and developing, maintaining, and monitoring all aspects of the project management such as planning, quality management, document handling, incl. the steering of System Engineering Advisor and Relatics Support as well as the BIM Manager.

Besides you ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, requirements and goals set for HSE, time, risk, quality and the framework of TenneT's corporate manuals and guidelines
You manage the respective budget in an efficient and responsible manner and deliver high quality project plans and support to progress and exception reports as well as decision documents and evaluations for Grid Connection Systems and support implementing Project Steering Group decisions
While ensuring implementation and continuous improvement of processes, tools and culture being organizational standards you are contributing to the standardization of project management approach and optimization of synergies between several HVDC-systems and off-shore platforms
You align with experts and teams within Large Projects Offshore and various other departments within TenneT and taking into account lessons learned from other large projects
You set up, staff and (hierarchically) lead an efficient dedicated team, focusing on realizing the project goals and ambitions as well as TenneT's broader goals and coach, inspire and actively develop employees and you align proactively hereto with other projects and line management
You foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork within LPO and the 2GW departments and ensure that team members have the necessary skills, training and resources to perform their roles effectively

Your profile and background

You have preferably a Master degree and an academic level in thinking and working, besides you are having an IPMA D certified or are open to obtain
Besides you have worked in a comparable leadership role for 3+ years, managing big infrastructure projects, particularly in the offshorearea, which equips you with strong technical and leadership skills
Inspire your people through servant leadership is typically you
You are dynamic, enthusiastic, intrinsically motivated, and with no 'nine-to-five' mentality
Your fluent Englishand German skills combined with your willingness to travel as per project needs round off your profile

Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
