SUMMARY
Inside Sales serves as a vital link between our customers and operations, ensuring Amphenol CMT's professional representation and the achievement of customer service and quality objectives.
This is a remote position based in the EU. Applications from outside the EU will not be considered.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Take ownership of demand management processes.
- Deliver comprehensive customer support, including sales order processing and inquiry management.
- Convert customer inquiries into actionable steps for Amphenol CMT.
- Nurture and maintain strong customer relationships, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align and meet customer expectations.
- Achieve departmental metrics as set by the Sales Manager and Sales Director.
- Partner with sales managers to forecast portal downloads accurately.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, working with cross-functional resources.
- Provide flexible support to Amphenol CMT customer accounts as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of all accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers and Product Managers to explore new business opportunities.
- Work with accounting to resolve credit issues efficiently.
- Monitor customer backlog and historical reports to anticipate order patterns and alert buyers to upcoming needs.
- Record Customer complaints in Windchill, issue RMAs, and collaborate with teams for resolution.
- Defend and improve Supplier Ratings to maintain acceptable quality and delivery levels.
- Prepare and manage all documents and correspondence professionally and promptly.
- Be flexible with work hours to support customer service levels.
- Perform other duties as required to support the department and the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years in a customer service/inside sales role.
- 2-5 years of customer service experience in preparing quotations, order entry, contract review, expediting orders, and updating order status.
