Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

For the department ADAS/AD Innovation we are looking for an intern / thesis student for the project "AI-based multi-view perception for autonomous driving". The department works on software for automated driving in urban environments. Within this department, we are a team of ambitious and highly motivated experts in the field of environment perception for self-driving vehicles.
- Research and assess novel algorithms for sparse bird’s-eye-view perception
- Use machine learning networks to fuse data from multiple sensors
- Investigate, train and evaluate networks for different downstream tasks (e.g. 3D object detection, road topology estimation)
- Cooperate closely within the perception team to advance the self-driving stack
- Enrolled master´s student in the area of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or similar
- Applied knowledge in software development and programming in Python and C++
- Good general knowledge of designing, implementing, and training neural networks with common machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorRT
- Strong communication skills and analytical understanding
