SCANTINEL PHOTONICS is a high-tech startup in the field of LiDAR technologies developing the key optical sensors enabling fully autonomous vehicles in the future. Such cars will come to reality faster than you can imagine. Our expertise is based on our years together at the optical technologies market leader ZEISS.

To complete our team of experts, we are looking for an Intern, Working, Bachelor or Master Student.

Support the development of perception algorithms based on 4D point clouds from frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) LiDARs

Support the development of software for robotic infrastructures

Support the development of software for automated data recording and evaluation

Support internal and external test activities including real traffic test drives

Your main responsibilities

You should have

A background in Informatics, Engineering, Physics or similar

Practical know-how in programming languages like C/C++ and Python

Basic experience in Embedded Software Development (e.g. Linux, ARM architecture)

Basic knowledge in communication engineering, system theory, digital signal processing, computer vision and control theory

Advanced English language skills

Know-how of German language is a plus

Interest to work on leading edge technology within a rising start-up
