We are currently recruiting a Business Analyst (eCommerce) who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group with focus on the eCommerce business. Partnering directly with cross-functional stakeholders such as the Trading team, Marketing and Customer Experience team, your focus will be on creating fact-based business insights regarding marketing performance, onsite experience and assortment performance which will ultimately help to improve customer acquisition, conversion and retention.
What you will do
- As part of the eCommerce Analytics team, you are responsible for all aspects of data analysis, research, and data visualisation that supports the business to make smart decisions.
- Share with senior internal stakeholders relevant fact-based business insights you derive, based on complex analysis in a visually compelling and comprehensible manner.
- Improve the collective data intelligence by being an analytical go-to-person for our trading teams and by improving the reporting landscape.
- Support global priority projects by analysing PnL and customer impact.
- Analyse website, sales and customer data to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Taking the insights you discover and influencing stakeholders to continually drive improvement through optimization, new initiatives, and strategic enhancements to the overall customer experience.
What you should bring
- Strong knowledge of SQL based reporting tools such as Tableau, Superset, Power BI or Google BigQuery.
- Experience working on projects using tools & systems including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Google Analytics, Contentsquare or other client-side reporting software.
- Educational background in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Informatics or similar quantitative field, and 3+ years professional experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast paced (Ecommerce) retail environment; knowledge of commercial trading is a plus.
- You balance technical knowledge with business understanding and collaborating with commercial stakeholders to generate insights.
- Ability to communicate precisely and to create a strong narrative around your findings in your reporting and analysis.
