Stellenausschreibung
Amazon Web Services empowers enterprises and startups alike to accelerate innovation through developer productivity. Security, auditability, and governance have become the primary drivers for cloud adoption — and AWS Config leads this shift with powerful insights into user activity, change tracking, and automated compliance tooling.
Join a world-class team building one of the largest configuration audit platforms globally. You will design and deploy agentic AI solutions that automate the entire resource type onboarding lifecycle — from research and schema authoring through testing, validation, and deployment. Your work sits at the intersection of large-scale distributed systems and AI-driven automation, crafting agents that reason about AWS service APIs, author configuration schemas, and validate correctness with minimal human intervention.
Work-life balance is core to our culture. We prioritize outcomes over hours logged, offering a flexible schedule that supports a productive, well-balanced life both inside and outside the office.
AWS Config is part of AWS Utility Computing (UC), driving product innovation across foundational services like S3 and EC2, plus consistently released features that set AWS apart in the industry. As a UC team member, you will support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps services — including specialized security solutions for cloud customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate high-scale, highly available distributed services extending AWS Config
- Architect AI agent orchestration systems that automate resource type onboarding at scale
- Own solutions across the full lifecycle: design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and support
- Drive operational excellence for agentic workflows — monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and rigorous, constructive code reviews
- Bring structure to ambiguous problems, manage competing priorities, and make data-driven decisions
