What to Expect
Join the Infotainment Products Design team as a driven Engineering Technician. You will work closely with electronics development and factory teams to independently drive validation tasks. Your daily responsibilities include hands-on work with antennas, speakers, and radio systems. This position requires strong software skills, mechanical aptitude, and a fast learning curve.
What You'll Do
- Support hardware bring-up, validation, and debugging of infotainment components alongside electronics development teams.
- Collaborate with engineers to align test setups, validation workflows, and production readiness requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized laboratory space, manage inventory, and construct testing fixtures for reliable setups.
- Autonomously conduct tests, gather data, and automate testing processes using Python or similar tools.
- Perform post-processing of test data with analytical software to derive meaningful technical insights.
- Document test setups, procedures, and findings clearly while managing multiple tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Participate in vehicle driving tests for direct product validation.
What You'll Bring
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Practical automotive experience with precision in disassembling and assembling vehicle components and electronic modules.
- Strong software proficiency in Python or equivalent scripting languages for automated data collection and analysis.
- Systems thinking approach to understand complex systems end-to-end and support effective troubleshooting.
- Hands-on background in building test equipment, running validation procedures, and setting up fixtures.
