Join Nokia's international test development team within the global Optical Research and Development organization. As an Optical Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will design automated manufacturing test solutions and provide essential technical support to global partners. This role places you at the heart of optical data transmission innovation, where you will tackle complex challenges and influence future technologies.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy cost-effective, automated test strategies for manufacturing environments.
- Optimize test processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize yield throughout the product lifecycle.
- Monitor production data and troubleshoot test stations to ensure seamless operations.
- Act as a technical bridge between R&D laboratories, manufacturing partners, and the Nokia Supply Chain.
- Support failure analysis and root cause diagnostics for advanced optical products.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as NI TestStand, LabView, Python, C#, or Visual Studio.
- Solid background in analog and digital hardware with strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage projects autonomously across diverse functional teams.
- Willingness to travel internationally for project collaboration.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Over 3 years of experience in manufacturing test programming and automation.
- In-depth knowledge of optical technologies and assembly processes.
- Expertise in root cause analysis and statistical data evaluation (e.g., 3-sigma).
- Experience with optical measurement instruments and basic SQL skills.
- Familiarity with AI applications and Supply Chain workflows.
