- Processing statements of account from reinsurance business written by our market department "UK and Ireland" and technical scrutiny
- Processing losses incurred worldwide
- Quarterly closing tasks, including non-liquid estimates and reserve calculations
- Correspondence and reconciliation with internal and external customers
- Participating in working groups and projects with a focus on digitalisation and automation
- Participating in virtual external customer meetings
- Degree in business administration and/or commercial training
- Initial experience in accounting (e.g. from the areas of banking, insurance, tax) and in the expert processing of statements of account with a (re)insurer is an asset
- HGB and IFRS accounting know-how is desirable
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Highly IT-minded and/or the willingness to familiarise yourself with new information technologies and IT tools
- Proficient user skills in English and independent user skills in German
- Very good numerical reasoning as well as analytical and conceptual abilities
- Team skills, commitment and a self-reliant style of working
