Your Mission and Responsibilities
As a key member of our engineering team, you will architect and enhance robust backend systems while optimizing website features and platform performance. You will partner closely with marketing and development specialists to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. Your role involves conducting thorough code reviews, adhering to high-quality standards, and ensuring stable releases through rigorous testing. Furthermore, you will actively participate in technical brainstorming and resolve complex issues identified by customers or product managers.
Tech Stack Overview
- Modern Backend development using PHP within a microservices environment
- Dynamic Frontend creation with Vue.js
- Message queuing via RabbitMQ and high-performance data storage with Redis and MariaDB
- Cloud-native orchestration using Kubernetes and automated CI/CD pipelines via GitLab
- Infrastructure management with Helm and monitoring through ELK Stack and SonarQube
Your Profile and Qualifications
- You possess several years of professional experience in PHP backend engineering.
- Maintaining and optimizing existing codebases is part of your core strength.
- Solid expertise in relational database management systems (RDBMS) is essential.
- You are familiar with SOLID principles and architectural patterns like MVP/MVPi.
- A strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and CI/CD workflows (Docker/GitLab) is required.
- You communicate fluently in English; German language skills represent a significant plus.
- Experience with frontend basics such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is highly desirable.
