For our company headquarters in Hamburg's HafenCity, we are looking for you to start as soon as possible as a (Junior) Product Control Analyst (m/f/d)

Your role:

As a Product Control Analyst (m/f/d) you will play a pivotal role in controlling and analyzing the daily activities related to risk and PNL. You will be part of a truly international Team with colleagues in Germany, UK and Singapore.

What you will do:

Close Collaboration with our trading desks, IT and Finance Teams to enhance the controls
Daily Position reporting
Daily reconciliation, reporting and analysis of PNL figures
Bio exposures and regulation
Assisting with month end close processes and investigate gaps between trading PNL and IFRS PNL
Support ad-hoc projects

What helps you to fulfill this role:

Preferably a Masters degree within Finance, Economics or related fields
First working experience of relevant trading experience in Product Control/Market Risk within a commodites trading company or financial institution
Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
Proficiency within Excel, Python, SQL and PowerBI
Fluent English is a must, proficiency within written and spoken German is a plus
