Your contribution will be

• Being a press spokesperson for FOUR PAWS and, if necessary, also as a crisis manager
• Developing and implementing PR strategies for individual campaigns and departments in dialogue with the campaign and lobby department
• Writing articles, opinion pieces, press releases, short statements and blog posts and placing them in the relevant media and evaluating your successes
• Answering media inquiries, establishing and maintain contact with journalists and editors and constantly expanding our network
• Finding creative approaches to preparing the topics of FOUR PAWS in an attention-getting way

Your profile ideally illustrates

• Several years of journalistic experience and/or topic-related press work
• Professional experience in the conception and implementation of communication campaigns on socio-political issues as well as in strategic media work with different target groups and communication channels
• You know how media representatives and editorial offices "tick" and like to pick up the phone to maintain contacts and offer stories
• Excellent German spelling and grammar as well as dramaturgical knowledge of text structure and fluent English skills
• Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
