Join SCOR as a Senior Business Development Manager for the International Desk, playing a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of the L&H strategy across BeLux, Netherlands, and German-speaking countries. This exciting opportunity involves analyzing market trends, identifying product needs, and nurturing enduring client relationships, all while expertly managing existing contracts.

Marketing

• Cultivate and expand client relationships
• Proactively monitor market dynamics to pinpoint opportunities in traditional reinsurance and Financial or Longevity Solutions
• Conduct in-depth market/product analyses and pioneer innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions
• Spearhead client discussions to sustain current business and unlock new opportunities
• Craft compelling offers and treaties, skillfully negotiating contract terms
• Employ actuarial models in collaboration with the pricing team to evaluate reinsurance proposals
• Define, implement, and track client action plans
• Support the Head of the ID in shaping market strategy and business plans
• Deliver engaging presentations to clients and actively participate in industry events

Portfolio Management

• Oversee the client offer and contract database
• Manage and control existing contracts with ID's Clients
• Actively drive in-force management initiatives
• Ensure the achievement of planned results within portfolio management
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including medical underwriting & claims, technical accounting, reserving & finance

Experience:

• Extensive experience in (re)insurance, with significant international exposure
• Familiarity with the Belgium/Luxembourg (re-)/insurance markets is advantageous
• Exceptional knowledge of analytical and mathematical concepts
• Proficient in standard software (MS Office), ideally with familiarity of the SCOR IT infrastructure

Required Education

• University degree (Master or Bachelor) in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related scientific field with a mathematical focus
