What does a Strategic People Partner do every day at Go1?

Imagine a role where you're more than an HR professional: you are a strategic partner and advisor to the business in the midst of an integration process, where you can truly contribute in handling complex employee processes, shaping the culture and driving success for the organisation. As a People Partner, you'll be at the heart of aligning People and Culture strategies with Go1's business goals and customising ad-hoc solutions for diverse business units.

You will focus on org design, performance management, employee growth and development, and support in fostering a positive workplace culture to enhance business performance and engagement.

As a Strategic People Partner, you will directly support Go1 leaders in the defined business functions, as well as the wider organisation to:

• Collaborate with people leaders to understand their team's specific culture and performance needs, providing advice on people matters, processes, risks, issues and trends, and empower them to deliver positive outcomes for their teams and the Go1 business
• Enable individual team members to achieve their career goals, have an engaging work experience while positively contributing to Go1's values, goals and mission
• Support all employees with their full employee journey, including Talent Development, Performance Management, Wellbeing, Retention, Engagement, Benefits and DEI
• Share best practice ideas with the broader People team to consolidate Blinkist integration with Go1 and ensure a consistent approach and ideal outcomes
• Assist with employee grievances and provide employee relations advice as needed
• Continue to harmonise people policies and implement processes that support a culture of performance and growth
• Utilise people metrics and survey data to improve internal policies and processes

What you'll experience

• Being a trusted Advisor: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor for leaders and employees globally providing competent and reliable support.
• Being a Strategic Business Partner: Partner with functional leaders to support their functional goals and people strategy; Offer insights and recommendations using an analytical and fact-based approach, planning, executing, and monitoring the effectiveness of solutions.
• Providing Support and Feedback: Provide support and feedback to client groups, consulting on talent strategy, management training, coaching, team member engagement programs, organizational development, and employee relations.
• Driving People Programs: Demonstrate ownership in developing and driving People programs aligning with Go1's goals and values. Deliver meaningful results to client groups in a concise and timely manner.
• Being a Culture Champion: Work closely with management and team members to enhance work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity, performance and retention.
• Providing Strategic Guidance: Provide guidance on business org design, unit restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning to support Go1's business strategy.
• Driving Talent Program Participation: Execute company-wide Talent Programs, including bi-annual performance reviews and annual compensation reviews.
