SCANTINEL PHOTONICS is a high-tech startup in the field of LiDAR technologies developing the key optical sensors enabling fully autonomous vehicles in the future. Such cars will come to reality faster than you can imagine. Our expertise is based on our years together at the optical technologies market leader ZEISS. To complete our team of experts, we are looking for passionate and talented people who will enjoy the ride with us!

Responsible for the electronic laboratory (soldering station, test equipment, ...)

Set-up and maintaining of the electronic laboratory infrastructure

Development and operation of manual and automated test equipment

Provide and maintain electronic tools and technical support

Support in set-up and operation of customer demos

Development and test of hardware for prototypes

Ensure compliance with applicable electronic and laboratory safety standards

Your main responsibilities

You should have

Appropriate training, apprenticeship, or degree in technical or scientific field

Experience in design and manufacturing of electronics, cables, and connectors

Experience of test software development in Python, MatLab and/or LabView

Awareness of cleanliness and electronic safety issues

Willingness of working in fast-moving environments with high levels of ambiguity and rapidly changing markets as well as a ‘hands-on-attitude’

English language skills, German language a plus

Automotive industry background is a plus

Background in optics and/or lasers a plus
