Your responsibilities

• Develop and manage budget plan for Global Legal Function (Center of Excellence)
• Monitor and analyze legal function's financial planning and execution status at the global and regional level
• Work closely with Finance for transparent communication of legal function's financial planning and execution status
• Proactively report the status of budget targets in relation to spend through the use of dashboards, metrics, and other analytics
• Assist in the development of legal operation's strategic planning
• Monitor yearly objectives including FYP and mid-to-long-term strategy including MYP for Legal function
• Analyze legal processes to inform best practices and promote continuous operational excellence
• Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, workflows and processes in the legal function
• Create, sustain and strengthen law firm and legal vendor relationships
• Continuously improve vendor management operations through use of globally harmonized processes to track law firm utilization and manage spend

Your qualification

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required, Law degree is preferred
• 5+ years of work experience in a corporate legal function and in-depth understanding on corporate legal function's capabilities and process
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably German, with an ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
• Experience working in an international environment with a multinational team across several global offices
• Organized and methodological working style, excellent time management
• Strong relationship building skills with various stakeholders from different regions of the world
• Ability to analyze and understand data and derive recommendations for action
• Project management skills and the ability to drive projects to implementation
