Your responsibilities

Develop and manage budget plan for Global Legal Function (Center of Excellence)
Monitor and analyze legal function's financial planning and execution status at the global and regional level
Work closely with Finance for transparent communication of legal function's financial planning and execution status
Proactively report the status of budget targets in relation to spend through the use of dashboards, metrics, and other analytics
Assist in the development of legal operation's strategic planning
Monitor yearly objectives including FYP and mid-to-long-term strategy including MYP for Legal function
Analyze legal processes to inform best practices and promote continuous operational excellence
Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, workflows and processes in the legal function
Create, sustain and strengthen law firm and legal vendor relationships
Continuously improve vendor management operations through use of globally harmonized processes to track law firm utilization and manage spend

Your qualification

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required, Law degree is preferred
5+ years of work experience in a corporate legal function and in-depth understanding on corporate legal function's capabilities and process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably German, with an ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
Experience working in an international environment with a multinational team across several global offices
Organized and methodological working style, excellent time management
Strong relationship building skills with various stakeholders from different regions of the world
Ability to analyze and understand data and derive recommendations for action
Project management skills and the ability to drive projects to implementation
